I handcrafted this jewel with 14K GF (Gold Fill) wire, intentionally creating an open back setting to hold this gorgeous natural Ethiopian Opal, allowing for the sun rays to shine through.

To keep your Opals happy, I suggest taking all Opal jewels off when near or in water/ liquids as they have the ability to absorb water resulting in the Opal becoming translucent.
